1. YEIDA will operate Hydrogen-Powered Buses between Noida Sector 35 to Agra ISBT via Noida International Airport.

YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) has invited bids for the operator selection of three hydrogen buses, which is closing on January 27, 2026. The air-conditioned buses will be 12 metres in length and will have 40 seats. They will be equipped with GPS and passenger cameras – and will also operate at night.

They can ply up to about 600 km per refill. Plying on this 200 km stretch, it is expected that these buses will cover about 2 lakh km per annum. The buses and their fuel will be supplied by NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation) and refuelling will be done at NTPC NETRA (NTPC Energy Technology Research Alliance), Greater Noida.

The improved mobility between NCR, Jewar Airport, and Agra is good news for YEIDA sectors around the airport, such as Sectors 18, 20, 21, 22D, 24 and 25.
